Unfortunately for me, it is one I have not celebrated for quite some time.
I'm still rocking out on an Indonesian made Cort M520 where I've changed some of the hardware out and tinkered around with. It's a great guitar, with Seymour designed pickups. I'm only a bedroom rocker, but get some great sounds out of this thing.
Congrats again on the new aquisition!

I'm more of a jammer. I'm not a lead player. I can do a blues scale lead, quite melodic, but I prefer rhythm stuff.
I love playing along to ZZ Top and AC/DC and like Brasstax, volume and energy makes up for the lack of talent.
I'm looking at getting one of the cheap guitars from thomann just to butcher and play around with, swapping pickups and customising in general.

in truth, if you are really looking for a cheap yet EXCEEDILY quality guitar, you really need look no further than All In One Guitar - Bass Repairs
They go buy brand name of Wolf. I bought my son his first electric for about 600 bucks, and 3 years later he is still playing. and playing that guitar at gigs around college. truly, a maker to check out.

I have this little all tube 4 watt VOX amp. Class A of course.
its kind of nice, but i cant decide if i really like it enough to keep.
It doesn't seem to take even modulation pedals very well
but it plays totally nice if im just rolling in and out of volume from the guitar.

i've got an older Boss JS-8 jam unit, which I then feed out to a small Orange amp for volume.
This thing suits me, I can load in backing tracks and just jam along, and it's got more sounds than I'd ever really bother with.
I did dial in a great Malcolm Young sound, and with the amp, it's enough to keep my kids, their friends, and the neighbours annoyed!

HAHA Thats so true!!! I still remember and have UNCHAINED somewhere on one of these drives.
Today was a sad day tho. I off loaded an old PRS SE 24, and a VoxAC30.
I love all my guitars... first time ive sold one in 25 years... And I enjoyed the Vox, but i only have so much room... sadly it had to go as well.

for some reason I just always associated unchained with TR2... not sure why. Maybe because thats what i listened to during matches? Dunno, but it brings back some cool memories.
