I looked into it, but I didn't get a clear answer if I could or not.

- owning antique firearms in Iowa

Thought of maybe going hunting with black powder, but honestly, I'm just knackered taking a walk, its bout time to settle in and just admit that the ol negative symptoms of Schizophrenia done kicked my ass.

I also thought I was gonna go swimming hard this summer, but that ****ing covid basically closed everything up and now its almost fall. ****ing sucks.

I think you have a nice piece there.

You could call them Napoleonic, or War of 1812. It's the time frame for the movie Master and Commander, and the Sharpe series.

I don't think its far off to say that the box was repurposed. The guy who bought them probably needed a box to store them in during transport, and when not in the field. And a box maker for cutlery would probably make up a box for another similar purpose. It's the time frame for Georgian tea caddies, lap desks and hat boxes. Boxes were a very big business.

Gun Jesus  Ian McCollum of Rock Island Auction  is also local to eastern Iowa.

Iowa is pretty cool with gun collecting. Just stay out of Illinois.

SC - is it a .52cal? I was unaware they shot such a large ball.

I was also unaware that your second could shoot the other person if that person failed to fire in 3 seconds from the flag drop. That is mentioned in the video.

That's why you see two sets of pistols. 1 for you and 1 for your second.
