This was a topic for a discussion at work yesterday here in Tucson. Guy was upset that us conservatives are homophobes (yes, all of us) and that we used religion as an excuse. I asked if he thought that a business owner should be forced to provide a service to anyone, even if it conflicts with their religion and he said yes. I then asked if the owners were Muslim and they had a cafe, would he force them to watch gays hold hands and kiss in their cafe and his demeanor changed. He didn't want to say fuck Islam but he was fine saying fuck any other gay hating religion.

Probably because the other religions don't kill you for being mean to them.

I'm aware. At work I am surrounded by liberals and socialists and all I heard was "it was just a blow Job". That was how even the democrats in congress categorized it.

No, he was impeached for lying to a grand jury. His list of crimes also included destruction of evidence, telling others to lie and withhold evidence, on top of whatever sexcapades he was involved in. His record of abuse goes back decades, always covered up or paid off, and makes trumps paying off a prostitute nothing more than a night in band camp.

The democrats are proven slime, and for some stupid reason get excused for all of the shit they do. But when a republican has been exposed, it's to the stake for them.

This countries politics just sickens me. We're being controlled by a bunch of beta fucks driven by emotion and feelz instead of logic and reason.

And you can't reason with toddlers.

It's not an impeachment hearing. It's an impeachment investigation hearing, trying to decide whether they should or should not start an official impeachment. In other words, they're trying to circumvent actual impeachment and gain access to everything they would be entitled to during an impeachment without actually impeaching.

Kind of sad really.
