Curve ball time -
So - I had a dream this morning. I will share it with you TW.
First things first - I had this dream over the course of exactly about 30 minutes. How do I know? Because it was occurring after my initial alarm went off. I have been staying up pretty late and so I hit the snooze button. I had some extra time in my schedule so I figured wtf? This awesome dream had just started and so I hit the snooze button and went right back into the dream. This happened for another 30 minutes. I felt like I could keep doing it too but in the end - decided to leave the dream.
I have experimented quite a bit with lucid dreaming and so the first interesting thing about this dream is that I feel like I could go back to it. Many of my dreams feel like when they are done - they are history. This one felt different. Full color. Felt like I was in it - not just watching it. Very real.
OK - so - to the dream.
It's me and Trump walking through the glitzy, almost mall-like corridor of what he informs me is an older casino owned by a friend. He is wearing a blue jacket and a white shirt. Looking like business Donald. We are making small talk as we walk. Pointing out odd parts of the interior design. Things that need work. Things that are cool.
Eventually - we get to an open area where there are people. Walking across to us is Melania. He introduces me to her. We shake hands. She starts asking me questions about myself - how I know Donald. Donald is not paying any attention to us which is OK by me because we are not paying any attention to him either. He just interrupts and says "Hey - let me grab him a minute" She smiles this smile which I interpreted as "boys will be boys" and she said - sure - we will catch up in awhile.
So - we start walking down the hall and take a quick turn behind some plants and down an odd corridor and then around a little storage area. He says "Let's check this out - I wonder if it's still there..."
He pushes on a wall panel and it opens. We go up a flight of stairs - open a door and we are all of a sudden in this awesome atrium like area exposed to the sunlight through a dome. The area is surrounded by furniture and all of these colorful little pools. In the middle is a central swimming pool and these little "kiddie" pool things go up the edges. There are some tables and comfortable seating. A recessed area has a bar-like thing with seating, shelves etc. There is no one else inside. It has the feeling that it hadn't been used in awhile.
Trump looks at me and says "Ha! It is still here. Paul built this for his family. Mostly for his kids and their children. When they would come to town, they would hang out here." I said something like "That's crazy that you remembered how to get in here".
He looked at me and said "Every property has a personality. I never forget a property or a personality." He kind of put his hands in his pockets and rocked up and down on his toes. Almost like he should be whistling. Then he said "Those kids must all be in their 20s now".
Melania shows up and says "I thought I would find you here."
Donald looks at us and says "Why don't you two hang out for awhile. Show this guy around. I have some business to attend to".
Melania says "Sure! That would be fun". Donald nods and takes off. Melania and I start to wander around outside the casino grounds and talk. The dream changed her into some autumn colored high necked sweater thing.
We made some small talk and then she asks me directly and carefully as if she is not comfortable prying into my business - "Donald and I are guessing that you are single - is this right?" - I laughed and said yeah, that's true. And she smiled and said "We are usually right". She seemed pleased with my response and our conversation got more personal. She asked me what I liked about women. I told her that I loved everything about women. I love the way they move. The way they smell. The way they laugh. I said I loved the fake laughs but I really love the genuine laughs the most. I said every woman has a secret laugh that only her closest friends ever hear. She asked me what I thought about her.
At this point - I remember calculating my response carefully. In my head I told myself not to say that she was beautiful first. I felt that would be a little insulting. So - I led off into my response. I said - I felt she struck me as being thoughtful, graceful and not one to say anything when there was nothing nice to say. I told her I felt that she wasn't the type of person to start trouble. That she handled herself well and seemed to be genuinely interested about helping others. Then I said "and of course you are beautiful." She dropped her head and smiled. I told her that I had dated women from her part of the world and that I found them to be mysterious. That they both hated and loved men and I found this mix to be adorable. I told her that I also knew that no matter how proper she appeared to the outside that on the inside I knew she was different and had a private life that she kept well shielded. She looked at me like I was seeing right through her and was reading her like a book.
Then - I had to get up and go to work. That's where the dream ended.
I thought about the overall feel and it was one of being with people that I understood. Good people. Approachable people that once you were with them were genuine. Donald came across as sincere, driven and one-of-the-lads, Melania came across as mysterious and elegant. A hint of sadness.
It was an A+++ dream - would dream again.

Liberals(progressives) ban bump stocks its not like a dude who regularly gambled 100k at a time would been able to buy10-20k worth of registered weapons... :shock: oh wait he could... better yet is the plethora of legal to own books detailing how to convert semi to full.
So banning bumpstocks would have literally changed absolutely nothing... nothing would have changed except the fact that people would be shitting their pants over their 10-20k investments that are on the chopping block bulls eye instead of all of the semi-autos on the market at this time. This entire event stinks to high heaven.
0 "motive" for the shooter yet but politicians had their motives drafted before the bodies hit the morgue with laws so vague that any part attached to a rifle could be interpreted as "increasing the rate of fire but not converting it to a machine gun"
even the fucking tac-sack could be interpreted as increasing the rate of fire FFS and its literally truck nuts for your gun...

Are we still on bump stocks?
There is a reason why people like Dylan Roof and James Holmes are behind bars. Why? It's obvious that people are responsible for killings. Not objects. Otherwise - the object would be in prison and the people would be on the street. That would be silly, right? Everyone on the bus to this point? Good.
Now that we have determined that people kill - focus on that. Focus on figuring out what makes them loopy enough to crack. It's a tough problem but that IS the problem. Not the guns. Most of us have them. We don't need full auto. We could get machine guns but we don't. We like to shoot but when we carry or protect the home - we use things like shotguns and easily concealable - accurate pistols. We aren't going to spray into a crowd (unless it's a mob and then mob law applies).
Hey - on that topic since there have been some mobs on the street recently. Do all you non-gun folks know about mob law? You should check it out. If you are part of a mob - the law looks at all of you as one person. Even if you are standing towards the back. If you get nailed - too bad - so sad - you were part of a mob. So - choose who you stand next to wisely.

You have the positive right to bear arms. There is no counter (negative) right that states you can only bear certain arms.
Thats how the constitution works.
"Everything which is not forbidden is allowed" in English law, the core of the constitutional law and the philosphy of locke, which heavily influenced the writing of our Constitution. This is applied to the governed. Its 'flip side'..."everything which is not allowed is forbidden" is applied to the government. The Constitution is written to outline what the government can't do..not what you can. If there isn't anything saying its illegal...then its legal. There isn't anything anywhere that says 'you can only have shotguns'....so yeah..things like machinges (by the constitution) are legal.
