You can now buy in game pets for rl money

Well the Make-A-Wish donation only goes until 12/31/09, after that they will continue to make profits not only on those two pets but also all others they plan to slip down the pipe.

... Or was that fine print too fine?
No. Fucking. Shit.

I really do enjoy how you always manage to say something so profoundly fucking idiotic that even I am surprised.

Who cares? Don't play if you're having trouble lining their pockets or contributing to their bottom line.

I don't understand why Feannag has such a problem with Blizzard making money. It just doesn't make sense.
 Don't give him credit like he came up with the idea on his own. He is just regurgitating the popular sentiment held by anyone who has any sort of issue with WoW.

Smart people/companies take the opportunities given to them to make as much money as possible in that time period.

Blizzard is doing that.

Are you really upset that a business is trying to make money? Do you knit all your sweaters? Do you assemble your own hotrod for a vehicle? Everyone does this and you're singling out a company which seems to like you the most by making their game cater to bad players like you.

Come on, bro...

It just doesn't make ANY sense at all, worse than his typical stuff.

You live in America. You live in a society all about making money. Everyone needs to make money. Some people make less and are happy, others make more and are happy. Some prefer making less, others prefer making more. Some are unhappy with less, some are unhappy with more. It's not like this is a new concept. This has been around you your whole life. On top of this, he PLAYS the game. I don't get it. How can you or anyone else be angry about this?

If you care about video game 'purity' it's one thing. But you're criticizing them for giving not enough to charity. WTF

I love how you guys make it sound like I'm demanding they give me money or something. Apparently it IS too much to ask to see them go full proceeds for roughly a month and a half or so? Then they can throw out more and more pets for $10 a pop. It would be nice to see a company, amidst all the shitty business practices from financial institutions and car manufacturers, to step up and just do a good thing like giving to charity more than just writing out a check to said organization.

But you are right, this IS America and all we're concerned with is making as much money as you possibly can, preferably through any means necessary. I mean nothing bad could come from such a strategy, right?

Also I missed the memo when the government bumped the minimum wage to $18.30/hour. Someone may want to fill me in on that later, I was under the impression it was still near $7.50 or $8.00.

How come you just don't donate $5.00 for every hour you work? Or are you too concerned with money like blizzard?

Feannag, you should just make minimum wage, bro. Stop getting all greedy with the $18.30/hr. It's people like you who are destroying the economy and driving Costco prices up.

i cant believe u tards are defending bliz over this... youre gamers not their fuckin investors, and theyve basically stopped giving a shit about this game by caring more about how to squeeze every last $ out of it than to improve the game itself.

as for the tard arguing maintenance/salary costs do the math... youll find the margins to be in the high 90s

charity is socialism. id rather they hire more developers to make a better game than ruin it by selling out

We're customers, not investors. Blizzard offers a cheap optional cosmetic item for people to buy if they want. What exactly is the problem?

I find that last part highly unlikely. But, since you probably wont post anything that resembles real world numbers, and I don't care enough to look on my own, we'll just leave it there.
