I have a personal weather station that connects to my pc & phone. Aside from the main weather station, i have a few satellite digital thermometers i can place anywhere in my home that gets a wifi signal so, I put one of them in my car last week to measure the temp between having the sun shield in or out. Each day reached 100 outside. On the day without the sun shield, it reached 118 in my car. On the day with the sun shield, it reached 111.
I decided to put a different thermometer in the car that is not wifi so i can check the temps if/when i am out in the hot as **** NorCal sun, and to just see if it varies depending on how hot it gets outside. Now, it has not broken 100 since doing this last week and each time i check, it sits at 111.
I did this because at the dog park there is a notice board. On the board, they put up a piece of paper with possible car temperatures if the windows are rolled up etc., and their numbers were way the **** high. Still though, even though my tests only show a max of 118 without the sun shield on 100 degree days, that is way too fricken hot for a dog.
A pilot who was killed after crashing a plane into a Utah home he owned Monday morning was arrested on a domestic violence charge hours before he piloted the aircraft into the building where his wife and adult son were staying, police said.
Officials said it appeared the man, identified by relatives as Duane Youd, appeared to have crashed the plane intentionally, according to FOX13 Salt Lake City.
Youd, 47, was booked into jail Sunday after a domestic violence incident and was later released on bail, the station reported.
Youd’s wife and adult son were in the home and escaped unharmed.
"appeared to have crashed the plane intentionally"
He hit his own house. That would be staggering odds
