whats this about a movie?

is it going to be a series of interview, like the book? because that doesn't sound like much fun to watch

Quarantine. Not exactly a zombie movie. But then neither was 28 days later. It's a, nearly scene for scene, English remake of a Spanish movie called [REC]. Don't let the fanbois tell you that REC is better though. I watched them both back to back [REC] followed by Quarantine and Quarantine is by far the superior film. Better special effects, better acting, better action, better characters.

The 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake, 28 Days Later, and Quarantine are my 3 favorite zombie-type movies in the last decade.

I'm still a huge fan of the original Romero Dead movies: Night of the, Dawn of the, and Day of the Dead.
I was disappointed greatly by Land and Diary of the Dead.

On the Zombie theme if you really like zombie stuff I can't recommend highly enough the comic book series: The Walking Dead.

I think they're up to 64 issues. I've seen them at my local comic book store. Or you can check'm out at your local "store" in CBR format.

**** yes.

The Walking Dead is pretty much what happens after a zombie movie.
The movie ends, the heroes have escaped the horrible infested zombie town... Then what? Life in a zombie filled world is pretty ****ed up.
It started kind of slow, but by the end of the first volume you are hooked. There is some great ****ed up stuff in that series, and it's not slowing down any time soon.

Dead Snow

Saw it a few days ago. It's basically a remake/homage to Evil Dead with nazi zombies.

Go watch the original Night of the Living Dead. Everyone should experience the classics at least once.

Didn't Brad Pitt pickup the rights to the waking dead movie? Or am I thinking of another good zombie fiction?

I second all of The Walking Dead recommendations. Awesome awesome stuff. I've been reading the hardcovers that come with 12 issues each. Apparently the writer has committed to the series as long as he is still writing comics. Which is a good sign because its consistently great

No one mentioned Slither? It's a decent flick (although not scary).

The original Dawn of the Dead is the most depressing, but I enjoy it (and it's remake) the most.

You can always go the path of open copyright and watch all the Return of the Living Dead movies... SEND MORE COPS
