12-16 ping on own host

have always had 0 ping on own host, lately it's been at 12-16??

niflheim ping has been 28-32 like normal i have no idea why my host is fucked..

could it be a gfx driver thing?

depends on OS and nic drivers and whether u have windows gayfirewall and many other factor

(i host 0 ping windows 10)

vync locks FPS to same as refresh rate (ie 60 FPS for 60hz monitor)

this prevents screen tearing

but for reasons i dont understand it affects mouse input as well

vsync on in tribe = soupy slow mouse

if u used vsync u were handicapped
 
nah i had vsync off for months but of course i tried to switch between different driver versions for different games and i forgot vsync is auto-on << that was really my question: why would nvidia turn vsync on standard? (goes from 60 fps to 600-900+) seems crazy to cap

and yes it was weird that vsync would give me PL and 12 ping on own host and completely fuck with mouse very hard, soupy miasma fair way to put it; but also i shouldve checked showfps(); first oh well
