I can't believe the Bruins / Habs match up only gets 1 Nationally televised game. The biggest rivalry in hockey.

Lets go Blues!
Could be the hottest team in the league right now.

I have no time to do the conference semi's, here's my picks:
EAST:
Boston vs Montreal - This is a no brainer, Bruins sweep the remanants of a once great hockey civilization away.
Washington vs NY Rangers - The Rangers don't have anyone to cover Ovechkin, who spots them 1 goal/game. Washington in 5.
New Jersey vs Carolina- Finally, King Richard starts showing his age and infalibility. Carolina in 6.
Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia - Pits proves you can win a playoff with great goaltending and 2 guys if one of them is Sidney Crosby. Pitt in 5.
EAST FINAL:
Boston vs Pittsburgh - Boston in 7.
WEST:
San Jose vs Anaheim - Who cares. SJ in 4.
Detroit vs Columbus - This is a key series for Detroit, being an older team they need to finish their first round opponents quickly. Motown in 4.
Vancouver vs St. Louis - not even the great goal tending of one R. Luongo can stop the perennial choke that is Vancouver. Louie in 6.
Chicago vs Calgary Iginla is a ****ing warrior, leading an experienced team against a much more youthful Chi-town. Calgary in 5.
WEST FINAL:
Detroit vs San Jose Detroit in 7.
THE STANLEY CUP
Detroit vs. Boston. I have been a Detroit fans for 15 years. But I have a feeling about this one ... mainly that Boston is overdue for the big enchilada; Boston in 6.

I would say Boston is easily the hottest team /right now/. Aside from the "we don't give a ****" game they played against Buffalo this weekend.

My predictions are that I will be called a homer 47 times before the Finals, 17 times during the finals, and 47 times during the coming year. This does not include the 352 other insults regarding my small penis and my mother.
It will come down to Wings vs. Boston, Wings in 6.
