best drivers for 9800 Pro ?

Wondering is there was a concensus on which drivers were best for the Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb?

I hear that the Catalyst 4.10 suite aren't highly recommended. So maybe using the 4.9 set or something from Omega?

I don't have any problems with my existing drivers, but seeing as I last changed them in April, I thought I might as well update. I'm not looking for bleeding edge performance: stability is more important than performance.

AMD XP2200 @ 1.733mhz || Radeon Pro 9800 128mb || 1028mb RAM || Windows XP Pro SP1 || lots of other stuff

Try the omega 2.5.9

It's a (major) third party driver based on the catalyst series. Google for it, a LOT of enthusiasts use it.

Use the 4.10's, just don't install the version that comes with the Catalyst control center.

I went from 4.10 to omega really recently. i didn't see much of a difference in either of them in T:V but i kept the omega ones

Thanks; I put the Omega 2.5.90s in and everything seems fine.
