It is nice to add another dimension of interest into otherwise uninteresting matches. It's also a great way to become more familiar with all the players of the league.
 
All I know is my team has players from Hull on it due to budget concerns.

I'd like to chime in on this thread and say that I will be playing Yahoo! Fantasy Futbol again this season.
I was the champion last season for the Tribalwar group ;-)

im also a fan of yahoo fantasy over premierleague.com primarily because ive been a participant in their fantasy games since like 2004. plus rules like limiting your team to only 3 players from a team seems like a stupid rule.
 
chelsea had the most cleansheets last year, so why would you not pick cech? you get tons of extra points for him playing the full 90 and for the cleansheets and he only costs a few more points than the other keepers. the point to cost ratio is there.

and if you keep him as Captain he gets double points and is much more consistent than alot of midfielders and strikers. i'm not saying howard is shit, b/c he isn't but for fantasy football i don't see why you would go with anyone but cech.

i was within 100 points of doctaluv and beating him for a bit until winter break. around the winter break is when i usually quit these fantasy sports from boredom + most other teams quit + some team is ahead 300 points.

another thing you want to consider is fixtures and bye weeks. there are 3 games within the first 10 days of the season it looks like, and alot of teams (everton + arsenal) are missing the 2nd game. if you hvae 3 or 4 players pull in zero points that week it could effect u since points are inherently so low in the beginning.

also certain teams might have cake schedules etc ( man united )
