The funny thing is falcuck used TAKEN as an example. A movie where the dude has to go and TAKE shit back, it wasn't fucking given back to him. He would have no reason to be thankful in the situation.

I don't think you're remembering the movie very well Falhawk. Brian Mills asks the kidnappers politely to return his daughter, and that will be the end of it. Had they done so, he would've politely let the matter be. Mills always exercised good decorum, and there's no reason to believe he would not have thanked them for his daughter's return.
