When you particpate in an online class the same rules of behaviour apply that you are used to in the classroom. (BLACK DICKS)
Be respectful of others' postings, use the names of your classmates. (N WORDS)
Be polite when you post: reread your messages before posting or use the "preview" function in the Discussion area. (GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)
React slowly and think about your reply: don't let things escalate into ridiculous situations. (heh heh)
Do NOT use capital letters: they indicate anger and are considered very intrusive and LOUD. (FUCK_)
Remember that a joke may not always be taken that way online: use the word <grin> or <joke> or even a "smiley" like this ;-D to indicate that you are grinning or joking. (ew etc)
