So [WORK] bought me a 17 inch Hi Res Macbook Pro.

Goto work. Office says I have a box for me. Apparently the state is buying all the tech coordinators a 17 inch hi res mbp. (2.6ghz, 4gb ram, 200gb 7200rpm hd, 1920x1200 gorgeous display).

So I sold my macbookair for 1900 today considering I can use this mbp for school and work.

Not a bad machine.

edit: In all fairness we do a lot of media for the schools, from movie editing, uploading and updating the websites, photo editing for yearbook, etc. PDF making and publishing. We've been asking for a high end computer and they finally gave it to us to use. Cool benefit is I can use it as my personal computer since I am the tech guy.
 
buy a macbook air for $3000

sell it 2 months later for $1900

ender is a genius, no wonder he goes to u.hawaii manoa
