[~100 pics + story] My trip through South-America.

how long was the entire trip? I've always wanted to do something like this, mainly for photos and stuff.

Wow. Amazing pictures.
Yellow dot so I can show my gf where I want to go, instead of going to vegas or somewhere equally retarded.

wait, you went to santa cruz bolivia and thought the women are ugly?

holy fuck man. you did not visit jack shit where the hot as fuck women are then.

santa cruz, bolivia is like the texas and california for women in bolivia. some are as white as your silly ass, you think shes a tourist too.]

you missed out on cochabamba. my family lives there, as well as la paz. you obvious only visited the north side of la paz, not the south side. all the poor as fuck ppl live near the airport in la paz, and all the hot white bitches as well as the middle/upper class live south.

next time if you go to bolivia tell me. i will show you bolivia like nothing you have ever seen.

i would say you were lucky to not get assaulted/mugged/killed.

take that from someone who grew up partly in bolivia. if you even reek of foreigner, your ass is going to end up under the bridge dead.

cops? please. you give them $10 pesos/bolivianos and they will turn their back and allow your ass to get stabbed/shot. cops down there mean jack shit.

you obvious didnt go to el chapare. thats like bolivias key west/florida for vacationing.

What the hell. I just got back from 3 months in Ecuador, Peru and Columbia. Four days ago.

This is a pretty weird coincidence.

I REALLY want to visit more of Peru; all I had time for was Picchu & Sacred Valley. I wasn't on a "trip"/vacation so much as seeing my best friend, so I just hung around his town in the Manabi coastal province most of the time, with a 2-week blitz of the rest of ecuador, picchu, and across the border into Esmereldas columbia .

Yellow dotted. Oh, and first post on TW in nearly half a year for me. What the hell!

wow, already "worked" for an hour and i´m not done reading yet. It´s just too interessting.

Nice pics you added later, that is real photography! Your mate deserves some credits. Especially the frog and the butterfly, that´s upper class.

Yeah i'm going to do the unprecedented and congratulate you on your wonderful experience. Seriously, those pics are fantastic. While SA isn't on the top of my travel destinations list, i'm still very jealous.

Sounds trez cool.

But I would never go there and wander that far. Too dangerous for pasty gringos like me. I'm not so interested in 3rd world countries [some of em] to go there.

Awesome thread, and souds like an awesome trip.
Just did Australia and Thailand myself (amazing stuff, when you come from a country like Denmark), and i'm hoping to do either rest of Asia or SA, next year. Hard to not choose SA with a thread ike this. :)

Dude, if you read it good you will read what i said about Santa Cruz ;)

I visited the centre of La Paz.. i stayed in a street behind that big Church in the middle, the street that goes up.

About the assaulting and mugging: i did everything in Bolivia, i walked around in the streets at night alone, i approached people for whatever the fuck i wanted to buy illegally and what so not: no problems at all. Maybe i just lucky.. or maybe Bolivia changed a lot in the past few years.

El Chapare? shit... too bad i missed out on that.. where is that?

Man... Colombia is supposed to be so good, they say the women are beautifull, Cartagena is a nice place to go and then west to Santa Marta.. from there you can go into the jungle for ~5 days and go to this semi uncovered big inka (?) city which isn't that commercialised as macchu pichu yet.

I missed out on Ecuador :( i heard Quito was nice to hang out for a while.
