Ok here's the thread where you can ask me almost anything you want. I will not answer any questions about stuff I have participated in that is still officially "Secret" or sensitive in nature even though many years may have passed. I take the oaths I have sworn over the years seriously. I will also not post nudes of myself.

I will try to make timely responses but I'm playing Siege with some friends tonight as well.

No. I actually rarely smile. I picked up the nickname Smiling Canadian in the Legion. I had been in for about 16 months and we get quick deployed to an African shithole. We are on the ground for no more than 15 minutes and we come under intense fire. We lost 3 men right away and we really thought we were right fucked. I picked up our downed marksmans rifle and started returning aimed fire. The guys around me said later that the whole time I was returning fire and downing bad guys I was smiling from ear to ear. I don't think I was but that was when Smiling Canadian was born.

I joined in 1974. I spent 68 - 71 in Viet Nam and when I got back I had some issues fitting in with civilian life. I did lots of different things but I was never comfortable. My Grandfather told me about his time in the Legion when he escaped from Russia after WW2 so it seemed like a good place to go see if I could get my head screwed on properly again.

Blue

Meat...wild game in particular. Deer, Moose, Elk, Bear, Wild Boar.

My most satisfying I can't go into detail about but my 2nd most satisfying was 1985 in Afghanistan. I shot a Russian officer that was interrogating some Afghan women and girls in the most heinous manner I have ever seen. I put 1 round into the bridge of his nose from 1620 meters.
 
I apologize for my ignorance, but who are you and how many fucks should I give?

My interest in the possibility of providing said fucks is piqued by the insinuation of gunplay, covert ops and general mayhem.

Would you be willing to provide a brief, bullet point rundown on the quantity of fucks and why each fuck should be given?

Would now be a good or a bad time for someone to clue me in as to who the Smiling Canadian is because I'm afraid I lost my rolodex and my memory isn't what it used to be.
