it is kind of concerning from an existential outlook that nobody believes in anything anymore than hating someone else and wishing them dead or gone

only convicts have convictions

i'm still that way for the most part.....i just feel like i have already listened to all the other arguments before and they just get even more partisan and dishonest as time goes on. you instantly see through to the end and most peoples real goals.

as you illustrated nobody can really have higher convictions than the convicts who run our shit show now. i can think of probably 2 or 3 people in senate who are above garbage on any topic i actually care about (which isn't much at this point)

they are also dropping out of politics as fast as we are becoming disgusted and disenfranchised by it

i have no idea what is going on and when push comes to shove (which it likely will soon) can't imagine really anyone coming out being any better than the sewer stench i already smell

i guess i get some satisfaction out of that :lol:

I generally think Tele has a much clearer view of politics and the state of things than me or any of the rest of you so I listen carefully when he says things like his above post

Either that or he's a Russian bot sowing the seeds of discontent in America and divide and conquer and I'm just so gullible

the reality of the situation is that the extreme left and right want to live in universally different countries

there is no middle ground

no common cause

not even god, country, flag, anthem, or economic prosperity could get you to stand or be happy inside these borders last SoTu address

so if you will not move the best you can expect is to be living in a country very different and very divided until it really does become a different nation than the USA you grew up living in.
