Starting this thursday around 8pm Central, we'll do pick up games.

I didn't get a very high response from my last thread, but I know you ding-dongs will join and play. And even if you don't, there is usually 6v6+ every night of the week anyway - we'll just start making Thursdays more competitive.

I know tier 4 will probably complain about this, but hey - suck it up, it's 1 night a week. You can spend 1 night of the week doing real life things, or watching and learning from people that know what they're doing. And maybe even get picked if people don't show up!

I was tier 2 or 3 several years ago, and I used to get frustrated that they'd PU every night and I'd rarely get picked - so, I committed myself to get better at other positions besides chasing (home D, LO). And look at me now - I can successfully kill gimli 15+ times per map when he grabs flag - in the past it would have probably been closer to 7 or 8 times.

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking time zones, 8pm central, but idc - we can do 9pm central if it's easier for people. I'll just hop on around 8pm central probably, and we can get it going whenever we feel like it.

Yeah, I tried creating a new account, but it wasn't letting me post anything - so I dug up my old one.

If any admins or forum mods would like to change my name to vertig0, go right ahead - just let me know. :)

I think I was smurfing as "The One and Only" when I made this forum name like 6+ years ago - it was kind of a joke, because I smurfed so much that people didn't really know who I was in LT.
 
Edit that shit to say a specific time. Leaving the door open to come "whenever we feel like it" aint gonna cut it if you're serious about being the planner of such things.
 
I'll get more serious about it if people actually show up, but due to the response I have gotten from these posts - I'm not so sure.

I have a feeling, we'll pull some peeps out of the ashes though.
 
PU good numbers 3 games, was fun - we do again next thursday.

We need an admin there every thursday though unless Dare wants to give to me or lawlz.

I gave bad positions that map, and should have LOed from the start. Moons not familiar with position, so he kind of failed at it. He was going after flag carrier instead of escort, so just switched positions with him mid-map and let him chase.

BTW - if ryzer would have played, I would have taken eligh and we'd have won easy.

Oh well. I won't go undefeated every night. 2-1 is okay. :)
