Almost everybody has been in a running race.
 
I fucked my boss' daughter and kept my job. Twice.

Air National Guard (my part-time job): I was a Senior Airman and my boss was a Senior Master Sergeant. He was not happy. He is still my boss, and I've been promoted twice since then, I am now a Tech. Sergeant. She and I are still friends.

Fire Dept (my full-time job): I dated the Chief's daughter for a year before he found out. He wasn't happy at first, but we had already gotten the blessing from her mom (his wife) and her aunt. We were together for 2 and 1/2 years. She was the nicest girl I've ever been with, we just weren't compatible. He is still Chief of the department, and we get along great. We always kept work and private lives separate.
She is now engaged to a nice guy, and I'm happy for her.

Chase a kid trying to steal a bike down the road with a Masai short sword while wearing nothing but boxers in Boulder, CO
etc
 
First batting practice my senior year of high school was pitched by the Cincinnati Reds coach, ended up winning states that year.
