I'm from Canada so I pay for it via taxes
Not sure what the second part is supposed to mean? Been with the same person for 8 years and married 3, seems stable to me
I'm a firm believer that if the US does get UHC, one of two things needs to happen:
1) the rest of the world needs to pay for it as reimbursement for the protection we offer them
or
2) we withdraw our military and let them pay to defend themselves and see how long their precious healthcare programs last

that the places with the highest tax rates now have the highest levels of worker discontent and animosity for what is being done with their tax money (not shocking same is true in CA, NY, and IL)

And of course a great way to further burn a BERNIE BOT, who points to their region as how and why SOCIALISM works, when it still doesn't, is to show them that SOCIALISM isn't possible anywhere that doesn't have a WHITE MAJORITY to make it happen.
That nowhere in South America, Africa, Asia, or even the USSR (thanks Bolsheviks) is it a model for anything but more pain and suffering. More race to the bottom so that a few could feast on meals they didn't make or earn just a little bit longer......

i get that this is your real message......that you and your "significant other" could have 30 kids, all with the same genetic issues and costs, and have not a single fear or concern about how and where to pay for it

Your idea of paying for it through taxes is analogous to paying for part of the tip and thinking you were owed the ALL YOU CAN EAT feast you and your partner both consumed.
It is as bad as when people say that ILLEGALS pay taxes too.......because they pay some sales tax, some gas tax, to cover that 12k per pupil cost, per year, it takes just to educate one of their children.
