This is for you Trump voters.

I just wanted to clarify my statement on Trump's hotel in Atlantic City. Him putting it there on 3 acres of land reminded me of that part in A Bridge Too Far where the besieged British paratroopers run out and brave German fire to retrieve an airdropped cylinder they believed might be full of ammo. It breaks open and is full of paratrooper berets.

Him building it on that little piece of land was A Bridge Too Far. There was too much stacked against him for it to turn out well. It would be like the British paratroopers running out into the field to retrieve a tea kettle, thinking it would help them, only to discover when it burst open that it is half full of tea.

Now I like daring and panache in business as much as the next joe, but really, what was he thinking? It also seems like trying to run may just be a waste of his time. He's Donald Trump. Why does he need to be a president too?

To Make America Great Again...... duh.

Tired of the cuckservatives and Democrat globalists destroying the country.

If a dem candidate gets tripped up and then clarifies their meaning, it's OK. If it's Trump he is a nazi/racist/sexist/whatever.

Who am I kidding? Media doesn't try to trick dem candidates with loaded questions.

He will still win.

I do think it is OK when someone is asking a misleading question like that. Seasoned politicians are better at it but all misspeak. If it was written down on a policy statement then that is a different story.

What Trump said about abortion was fine, it was common sense. If abortion is illegal, then you have to punish women who get an abortion. It's not the politically correct thing, where women are just tender little flowers who can't decide for themselves, and the 'bad men' giving the abortion are taking advantage of the pure little pregnant woman who decided to break the law and get an abortion.

Ya, as much as the media is shilling against Trump all this week, he'll probably start polling better as a staunch pro-life candidate in Wisconsin.

You say miss-speak, I say waffling. If it happens only a few times I'm willing to agree with you, but a pattern of behavior that is cyclical involving inflammatory statements that need to be walked back due to widespread condemnation by peers seems to be more than a mistake. It seems to be his strategy. It leaves a wink and a nod to everyone who heard his first statement and agreed with it that he's just got to cover his ass for 'the media' and 'political correctness' with any follow-up responses to criticism. Its a strategy of shamelessly waffling on where he stands on important issues depending on the audience, the day, and the feedback.

It would be interesting to know how many teleprompting systems and laptops have been hacked, that they can predict what a candidate will say and then launch a PR storm against them the same day. Probably, they are paralyzed with fear, since Trump only plans a few things out in advance, the rest is totally spontaneous

They all waffle based on polls and reactions. My issue is with the bias
