Name something you've done that others probally have not

Most of mine would involve name-dropping a bunch of musicians, which is generally not in good taste, but I could do that if it's wanted.

1993 red sox spring training, i was 6 years old and really wanted mo vaughns autograph, so i stood on top of a railing in order to have him see me so i could toss him a ball (this was in a crowd of photographers and other people wanting autographs). someone bumped into me and i fell, knocking some photographer from sports illustrated down and shattering his expensive ass camera. the guy starts yelling at me for breaking his camera, then suddenly mo vaughn notices, points his bat at the photographer, tells him to shut up, and then he invited me to hang out with him the rest of the day. was a fun day =)

edit: i also lost my virginity while texting a much more attractive girl behind her head (missionary)

I've shot a Mac-10 once. Full auto, shaved sear. With a silencer.

Went to a party way out in the desert and someone whipped it out so we headed out to the junk pile. I got to dump a clip into an old toilet. It was destroyed in seconds. Porcelain flying everywhere.

Noted: That silencer didn't do like the movies do. It went from Rata-tat-tat to pop-pop-pop-pop but was still loud as fuck. :D
 
Went to the San Diego School of Baseball as a kid. Did things like...

Was taught the split finger fastball by Dave Smith (AllStar closer for Houston Astros in the 80's)
edit - WTF...just looked up his Wiki and apparently he died of a heart attack last December. Only 53 :(

Took batting lessons from Tony Gwynn. (and as a lifelong San Diegen this was especially cool)

Was taught proper fielding and baserunning techniques by Alan Trammell



Was stabbed 10 times in a fight.


Bought Kato Kaelin a beer when drunk in a Hollywood bar. (and to this day I wish I could go back in time and kick myself in the balls right before I did that).
I don't know wtf I was thinking.

When I lived down in PB several years ago, there was a knife fight between 2 mexicans in my front yard. The police asked if they could store one of the guys bicycles in my yard while they took him to jail.

I found it humorous to have had an honest to goodness mexican knife fight in my front yard. I found it even more humorous that one of the guys was either too young or too poor to have a car and went to the fight on a fucking bicycle at 1 in the morning. The only thing that would have made it better is if I heard one yell out, "I'm gonna cut you mang!"

I used to hang with Lisa Presley. Met Priscilla a few times.

I hung out a few times with Thad Corea, who (I think) is still with the Blue Man Group.

Was stage manager for the lead guitarist of Iron Butterfly for one of his solo shows.

Many, many more.
