Is Necrotic Plague supposed to be carried over to the stand-on-the-edge-and kill Raging Spirits part? Other than that screwing us a few times it doesn't feel like that hard of a fight, just getting used to the mechanics.
 
You have to dispel it next to the big add (I can't recall the name atm). When the plague is dispelled, it moves on to the next target. Think of it like the Kalecgos curse.

If you're feeling frisky, you could get the stacks up a bit and dispel it to the add and get it killed quicker!
 
We did dispel and have it jump on ghouls and horrors but on some tries we still had the plague go with us to the transition phase. If the person with it ran a bit out of the group and got dispelled it vanished, but it was still an annoyance having to deal with it.
 
We have the Shambling horror tanked about 12 yards away from the lich king. We let cleaves etc. kill the ghouls on top of lich king and move the plague directly to the Shambling Horror and the OT holding it. It will either drop onto the horror or the OT (obviously if it dispels onto the OT just dispel one more time). By the time you get to a 3+ stack on the shambling horror he's taking ticks to the point you can just stop DPSing the Horror at 60%, DPS the lich king and by the time the next Shambling comes out (or you can enter the transition) the previous Shambling has died from the plague dot. At the most the Horror has about 300k left when the next one is coming out.

With this strategy you NEVER want the plague to stack up on a ghoul. With this strat we're out of the phase in two Shambling Horrors.

Have everyone install DXE, power auras or both. It's simple when everyone pays attention and the dispeller isn't dispelling the second the person gets the plague and lets the person get it to the Shambling Horror.

We are pro phase oners, we have the downs in P2 with Defile (in 25). :(

Yeah we never have any problems having no shamblers up when we push him to 70% it's just that goddamn plague sometimes carries over with us which is a pain in the ass.

im finishing up school, and yet even even down LK normal since i stopped raiding.

gonna be picking it all back up ~10days, hope to also do LK hardmode. (or at least attempt)

God, we had to wipe so many times this week, getting the Sindragosa Achieve, and the vile spirit one :(

LK hard may never happen now that we have mounts, a lot of people are not wanting to raid as much. oh well.
 
We do phase 1 a lot differently. We have our pally MT tank the ghouls and shamblerss off to the side and have people who get the plague run over. He keeps it bouncing himself. He constantly taunts the ghouls over to himself when they spawn.

Once the transition phase comes in he tanks whatever is left off to the side and eventually the plague kills everything all on its own if done right. After that he and our druid tank swap roles and pally tanks LK while druid taunts the remaining 1-2 spirits in phase 2.
