Need help with a storyline mission

I received a storyline mission tonight to find a "Fugitve Hideout", and was given three possible constellations that it may be in. I set a waypoint for every system within all three constellations (27 total jumps, took nearly two hours).

At each system that was within these three constellations I check the overview for Fugitive Hideouts, and did a scan with a 200,000 km range at both the entry and exit jumpgates. I did not find it in any of these systems.. any help?

That's actually easier than it looks. There are two ways to do it.

1) Buy 5 units of criminal DNA from the market.
2) Go to a fugitive hideout and kill them until you have 5 units of criminal DNA.

Yes it says you need specific ones, but ignore that, they just want generic criminal DNA.

There's a few fugitive hideouts in that area so it shouldn't be hard to get.

Cheap bitch! Normally they'll give you the encounter areas already, accessible by right clicking space, regardless of whether they say YOU have to find them.

No, they only gave me constellation names to look into, and yeah all that for 44k sucks - if it wasn't a storyline mission I would never had taken it on.

Anyway, Kore was right - all I really needed to do was buy criminal DNA off the market and report the mission as completed. Guess their DNA scientists aren't very sharp...
