When was Tribes most exciting for you

T1: May 1999-Oct 1999 OGL/teamplay matches.
T2: Rabbit during practices with ]E[.
T:V: Smurfing on pubs with sled and ss.

1.11.....When you start Tribes and have to refresh the TR servers to death until someone dropped - play a scrim or three, 3v3, +2000 point games, then join US Base or LT for some CTF(Raindance) action, hit a couple PUs, then finish off the evening with some Arena/Duel...RIP

before I even got the game was pretty fucking exciting :lol: my hype meter was full

obsessing over the tips and tactics guide in an issue of the US PC Gamer mag I got from somewhere, thinking about all the cool vehicle related things I would do in the game...

99/2000 was memorable because i was skipping studying for exams to play tribes...then again hs is easy and would get 90s anyway

the other big moment for me was going to university and finally getting off dialup so, although was later in the tribes lifecycle, 2000/2001 was the most fun as lpb

2001

#1 playing in prime TR competition (forget the years, but people like izod (my best partner, invented all kinds of tricks), paradork, vector, sharp, we changed the way the game was played)

#2 prime arena/duel (also forget years, don't think i played on many arena teams aside from pu'ing during this time aside from carnova's super friends, but was such a unique time full of people passionate to play arena full of diff maps)

#3 best t1 LT pickups -- i cant remember what years these were (im guessing like 2005-2006? idk) but there were always plenty of people around and only the best selected -- these games were the only CTF games worth playing

League-games during peak.. And for me personally, lurking through scripts.
