About 50 this year, almost all kids with parents. The middle-schoolers didn't come out this year.

Most popular candy chosen: Sour patch kids.

we had a bunch of sheets of stickers so my wife tossed those in the candy bowl with the usual stuff and they were surprisingly popular

We usually find something to go do. Last night we went to dinner and to see The Nightmare Before Christmas at the Regal.

So, theoretically yes, we just weren't there to see them.

Halloween is a fairly new tradition in Sweden and people still mix it up with All Saints Day. The shops are all over it of course because money. This year we had a few groups of 3-4 kids about 10yo with younger siblings. All wearing face paint that they obviously had done themselves. Only two with rubber masks on. Sweet and innocent kids. I had my black cat and pumpkin dress on. Answered the door:

Kids: Trick or treat
Me: Are you really mean and bad kids?
Kids: Uhmm.. eehh...no
Me: Aren't your hearts black as night?
Kids: WTF... uhmmm... NO
Me: Then you shouldn't get any candy
Kids: But... but
Me: Aaawww please take all the candy you want *hands out loads*

Sweet innocent kids

Some came by. Couldn't get in the gate because it was locked. I ate the bag of candy.

Nearly 100 with mums and dads and grandmas etc. I posed for about 10 photos, was kind of scary/freaky.

About 80

Had well over 100 last year. Lansing, MI. Lots are small, like 45ft wide or something, so crazy dense.

And i saw quite a few neighbors that were set up for beggars

I mean for a kid, this is a prime area for trick or treating. Lots of older people around here, probably giving out pretty good candy, but i didn't see a single kid in the neighborhood.

Thanks Obama
Might be the stink of urine throughout the hood that keeps the kids away. hehe jj

We joined another couple and went to their friends party. House was on a long uphill drive so no kids. Haven't been to a wild party since forever, had the best time great food, drinks, dancing, and a few thick rails of coke - first time in years. Wife even got her nose powdered. Bought a quarter ounce out of my WS winnings for some special timez down the road or this weekend whichever comes first.
