Amazing Surf Day
It's been big the last 5 days
but enough guys that i only get a few good waves a day
yesterday in the afternoon the swell looked like it was decreasing quite a bit
woke up today at nine; was out in the lineup by 9:30
One guy was out... ONE! I know him; Poncho
local fisherman in his 30s and a good guy
From 9:30 to 1:30 I was never outside for more than 10 mins before catching a chest to head high wave. These are long left walls that go on forever; lots of turns, off the lips. Not hollow so no tubes; well some over the shoulder stuff but nothing deep today, just big faces to carve on. Then turn around and do a long easy paddle back out and do it again... and during that paddle out I saw many many many unridden waves... too many for just Poncho and me. Forgive me Lord for I have sinned...
My arms were falling off and Pancho and I were joking when the waves would come, 'you take it' 'no you go' 'no i insist you take it....' and so on.
I can't remember the last time I caught so many waves in one day...

When we got here June 28th, one of the 3 air conditioners was not working
I saw F3 F4 F5 flashing on the display; error codes
We look outside in the stairwell where air units are kept locked up, and it looks like someone has messed with our unit
Finally today we got the Trane guy out
Turns out, we have 3 parts missing
from a supposedly secure building with locks on the 'closets' where the air conditioner units are kept...
Bottom line
We paid the Trane guy ~$75 $45 parts $25 time plus a 5$ tip
I think
Someone else in the building had trouble with their Air Conditioning
got someone out here to look at their air unit
and that guy took our parts; probably not a Trane guy
We think he took all 3 cause he didn't know which one he needed.
We'll see how this pans out; it ain't over and we'll see how our administration handles it and whether we'll be compensated. I'll for sure bitch and let everyone in the building know about it on WhatApp. Maybe we can find out who else has had Air Conditioning service...
