there are some things you can get at auto parts stores that is used to buff scratches out of windshields...could work

Umm.. You can polish glass.. No matter how fucked up it is..

How do you think the edges of plate glass get smooth? It grows like that?

Just look for "glass polish" and not Windex.. Something w/ abrasive like windsheild restro. kit..

PS - Monitors aren't thin enough to get compromised from buffing. vge
