Are you opposed to multiple tax brackets?
They're not trap questions. I'm trying to determine what amRam considers unfair. He started with:
but then said that a system where 2 of those 3 things are true is "perfectly fair". So then is it the 3rd thing, the fact that higher earners pay a higher tax percentage, that makes the system unfair?
Understandable, since I haven't made one yet.i dont even understand what amadeus argument is.
ubi is inevitable
Or everUnderstandable, since I haven't made one yet.
Edgy.I'm opposed to all theft
how come you arent?
Maybe we're operating under different definitions, but to me, "unfair" doesn't just mean that there's a difference, but that the difference is unjustified or unreasonable. When you say that higher tax brackets are unfair, are you saying that there is no good reason for having them?Correct. Higher percentage makes it unfair. Flat tax would be fair. That's just a statement of fact. I'm not arguing for either.
Didn't I just say I'm not arguing for or against either?Maybe we're operating under different definitions, but to me, "unfair" doesn't just mean that there's a difference, but that the difference is unjustified or unreasonable. When you say that higher tax brackets are unfair, are you saying that there is no good reason for having them?
