whats in that avi isnt hi-res, so stop thinking it would kill anything.

If your fps suck now, of course they will suck regardles.

realize that *anything* (keyword) is now possibel with terrain.

This wasn't an 'oh, t1 release terrain deal'
This was a a message to let everyone know that terrains are now possible as well as skies as well as other
miscellaneous stuff.

i quite liked what i saw in the *.avi, it looks kind of like pearl, with that purply shine in it.

btw: sarc, do you ever sleep?!?

yea I do sleep. I was just up writing a nice little program to take my base file, grab a list of files to be copied, copy them, rename them and blah blah blah, so I can rename entire terrains with a base seamless file to start chit off mang ;)
 
nice sarc. at least you figured out how to do it. i had all my textures ready to go, and none of them worked no matter what i did. :\
