"Of course when you have a few hundred people in the zone the server will lag, but it just wasn't an issue thankfully."
Thanks for leaving out the next line -- GG out of context.
And I transferred from Frostmane last month, after playing there since release (well after Frostwolf xfers), I know all about PvP on PvP servers.
The thing is, when you enter a horde town, you are all flagged, and they can & will attack, so your arguement of "If it was on a PvP server" doesn't fly. They had all the opportunities in the world to try and stop us, and didn't. In fact, it was made even easier for the horde to stop us given that we could not preemptively kill them until they flagged.
PS: Lightbringer has queue times to join the server, so it doesn't get much more populated then that.
PPS: Lightbringer had the #1 5v5 in the battle group so trying to say we don't PvP or know how to is lame. The ONLY thing PvP servers offer now days is a chance to be ganked while doing dailies.
When I joined Frostwolf it was because the ONLY PvP was massive battles in Southshore, but after the implementation of all the battlegrounds and basically killing world PvP, there is no point other then to be annoyed. I leveled the hard way on a PvP server, I know the issues, and they have been completely minimized now. There is little to nothing that a PvP server can offer to me now.
Back in the day when rolling in 8/8 Nightslayer made you the shit and wrecking fools was fun, PvP servers were worth it. But after all Blizzard has done to separate the two, and completely nullify my hard work in PvE, I don't want the headache when I am doing PvE. Of course I have full PvP gear set as well, but if Blizzard is going to do everything it can to seperate the two, then I don't see why I need to fight it. I will just enjoy PvE when I want PvE, and PvP when I want PvP.
Instead I will get 2k+ in the Arena, while being Battlemaster, and doing dailies without the headache. If the horde want to set up a massive world PvP battle, be my guest, and I will be on the front lines.
