Me and a friend took a run down to Colorado about a couple week ago and picked up some goodies. There's so many ****ing shops down there it's kind of ridiculous, they're pretty much on every single street corner.
I got a few tubes of gummies, a few chocolate bars, and some shatter.
I finished all the edibles after a while, and those were the best. Good high, no coughing, no smell, no one even knows you're on the ****, and the high didn't take too long to kick in, and we had a great time with it all.
Well, edibles are gone, I'm down to my shatter, and woof... **** makes me cough so ****ing bad, so does weed, but this shatter stuff seems to just give me a headache, and makes me cough so ****ing hard that it throws my neck out.
Maybe the edibles have spoiled me, but god damn is it so much better than smoking - I mean the only down side is I don't get stoned right off the bat, but on an empty stomach I'll often feel it within 15-30 minutes, so it's kind of meh.
The Colorado trip was kind of fun, if you're ever heading down there using I-80 West swing by a little eatery called Lucy's Place. It's this little hole in the wall diner that straight up looks like a prop from FarCry5. I recommend the Rocky Mountain Oysters, they're really good here. The food isn't bonkers good, but it's that kind of honest, down-home cooking, decent portions, plus the place is just oozing with charm.
We stopped by for lunch on the way down there, and stopped by again for breakfast/brunch on the way back. They also sell knives, blankets, quilts, and some other odds and ends. Picked up a decent quilt for $25 and a couple of knives for a few bucks.
There's some next level insanity that happened while we were down there in Colorado, but I'll save that for another post, this one's already too long as it is.
