WoW Locking up....

since the patch, Sat?, WoW has been locking up like crazy for me. I have upgraded my drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled, scandisced, defragged(as per blizzards tech support) and it still locks

When it locks though, i hear this bzt sound from my PC, then the game locks, and goes into a blue screen. so i reboot.


This only happens w/ WoW, not anyother game.


any ideas?

I've crashed once since the patch and once before the patch in all of my time playing WoW.

When does the crash happen? Randomly or only with certian things? There are a lot of people that have issues rendering certain textures or effects and it causes them to lock up every time they see it. For example, there are people that lock up every time they enter Undercity for some stupid reason.

I'd also say run memtest86 to see how your ram is doing.

Try messing with your details, turn them all down and see if the problem persists.
