.5K is 500 and that's considered a narrow gap? I would think less than 100 would be a narrow gap.

When you're only hitting 800 or 1k DPS, yeah I'm sure its a big jump.

But at 7 or 7.7k, it just doesn't seem that big of a difference.

I could be wrong, this is just me talking out of my ass. :]

500 is roughly 6.5% of 7700 so maybe it's not that bad. If the top out was 4500 it would be about 11%. But that's assuming all the DPS (or at least the DPS of the class involved) is averaging 7700 or so, correct?

I never got that much into number crunching myself.
