Aion is a new MMO from NCSoft that just recently entered Alpha.

Due to some magic I might be participating in it. There are no MMO forums here on TW, so I thought I'd post here and see if there is any interest.

If there is, I will provide whatever updates/screens I can as time goes on. (within NDA of course)

That looks like a very interesting game. Definitely nothing like the 100 other korean mmos out there.

Does look interesting I really like the concept!

First thing I thought of when I saw the screenshots was lineage (still). Hope you enjoy the alpha!!

Most likely you are not wrong.

I have played a few Koren MMOs actually. So I will be able to tell if this is going to be a significant game or not, I'll try to keep you guys posted.

Played in the chinese beta up until 18, I'm digging this game, a lot.

It's WoWesque with more interaction

you all are a little LTTP, but yeah I'm excited for it

If you dig high-quality Korean MMOs like this....you should really look into TERA and Blade & Soul as well. TERA is basically Lineage 3 - some drama happened and the L3 team got scraped and they jacked the source code pretty much and went and made TERA outside of NCsoft. And it's the hottest looking MMO you will ever see. It does wonders with the unreal engine.

Anyone can play the Chinese version for free anyway and there's an English conversation file on filefront.
