They chose a 16 year old girl as the mouth piece of their rhetoric ... because you can't argue with a 16 year old girl without looking like "a big meanie".
You can't say "Suck it up princess, life is tough, no one is responsible for your future but you and no cares if there are no rainbows and sunflowers left when you grow up".
Rather than debate the issue of climate change from a perspective of logic and reason... you know with facts... we'll appeal to your emotions. And it works! Great marketing! How else do you get your message in front of the UN? Get every one from movie stars to world leaders clamoring for a photo op with your mascot?
