Tell Me How I Screwed This Up

So how much did that homemade thing cost to build? Last window unit I bought was a used "energy efficient" unit that set me back 45 bucks. It kept the living room and Kitchen cool in my mom's house even through the hottest Texas weather. If you really looked around, I guarantee you could find one for about 50 bucks, maybe even cheaper.
