Agreed, but the continous fire sounds way longer than just 20/30 bullets. Unless he got a hold of drum mags or something perhaps
 
mags over 20 rounds are legal after expiration of the AWB. I would like an AW as well but yes it should get you on a list. the shooter might have helped build f-14s at martin Marietta.

Those drum mags are crap, terrible reliability, hard to imagine that is what he used and was able to get off that many shots.

From the pictures, it looked like 2 windows of the hotel had been broke. Curious if he didn't set up 2 gun 'nests', fire one gun until it was empty, and then switched to the other one a few windows down and fire that until empty. He had what, 10 guns in there? Kind of weird to not expend all ammo before killing self especially since a long time had passed before police breached the room.
 
I am just wondering what the motivator was at this point...recent muslim convert as old white guy? Racist? Anti NWO nut job? Antifa loser who wanted to kill rednecks at a country concert? Pissed off gay guy who hates Trump? Pissed off Trump supporter who hates gays? Or maybe just some mentally deranged lunatic who didn't have a cause but wanted to kill people?
 
There's nothing that can be done to stop this. 2nd concert attack in recent years. In the first one, the guy didn't even go into the event, but set off a bomb outside. Now this guy is 32 stories up across the street. There was also the dude up in an office building in Dallas with a rifle, and there was Pulse in Orlando.

I saw the news at lunch time. Two windows busted out a few rooms apart from each other.
 
Just showed my personal solidarity by booking my flights to Vegas for next month. Was gonna do it today anyway, but fuck 'em.

Glad he didn't use explosives as well. If he had as many guns as reported, seeing as many as 10, I'm surprised he didn't get a rpg from somewhere. Also no ied which was good or it would have been even worse

Not really buying the 'lone' gunman bit, especially since numerous people and the police initially said multiple shooters - until I see casino footage of this guy acting alone.

Probably was a patsy.
