I don't believe they do anything at all, especially home made ones. But there are a lot more stupid things to get upset about than this. It's chilly, it keeps your face warm while I go out for my 1 hr of allotted exercise time :)

Yep, they can't hide this shit. And that's not taking into consideration the population growth year to year. Fucking open up and stop being babies. 'dave, i know a friend of a friend who got covid and it was really bad, almost died. need to wear masks man, another friend of a friend died and had no underlying comorbidity ,,, it's real man, more than the flu....)

ok it's real, but it's not much more than the flu and, just like the flu, we know who is susceptible.... so maybe don't put sick people into nursing homes... (how the fuck is the governor and mayor in NY not strung up from a light pole. Does anyone think they did the right thing. I think it was outright murder to make the President look bad.)

Sev - people are dumb. I don't think many Americans understand that what is going on in their area is not what's going on everywhere. They really don't get that their state/city is mostly in charge of what goes on. Damnedest thing ;)

Pretty much. I believe we DO need a dynamic/reactive national plan to follow in the case of pandemic. Too bad the agencies we paid so much for over the last couple of decades did jack shit. Simple shit like - new virus identified and spreading? Shut down air traffic ASAP. True emergency only type travel. We let businesses and politics run the show in an ad-hoc manner and that was wrong.

When the wuflu went thru my town back in Jan and Feb I paid close attention. Town is mostly retirees. My elderly friends have been just fine. Despite the fact I have not worn the mask and have comped immune system. If wuflu was half as bad as tv said they would be dead and so would I. Yet they just bought another golf cart and I just got back from kayaking.

People let the media scare them into submission in an effort to affect the results of an election. SAD!
