Hellgate London Influenced by Tribes

no im not saying it, i think the whole idea of boycotting VUGames demeans the whole meaning of boycott. im just putting it out there for the people who realy think they mean something by doing that. at least make them suffer a little.

I'd have to see some actual gameplay vids before I could agree. Fancy pre-rendered CG trailers rarely impress me since they're never like the actual ingame experience.
 
It definately looks cool.
And the powered armor idea is appealing because it's so similar (identical?) to Tribes. Needs more jetpack though.

Very true. Plus its already been said this game wont actually play like a fast paced FPS shooter.
 
There is a gameplay video floating around out there - I saw it the other day.

The movment looks stiff as shit, and the graphics quality seems to be ~Unreal quality (speaking of the U3 engine's looks)

Sorry, I should have wrote "this game sounds promising." Just reading up on all the articles I could find and it sounded like a very unique game. Random levels, damage based on character skills, 100 base wepons, mods for everything and such. Can't wait for some in game footage.

Seen that game before...you cant really say its inspired by diamond sword...more midevil..which is what diamond swords look like..anyway its an rpg...so dotn know if it ll actualyl bare simularities to tribes
