"BlueLines" Plugin - change colors of menu stuff

This is possibly the most uselss plugin ever created :)

It allows you to change the colors most of the menu greenlines and hud brackets and backgrounds to any color you want

As you can see there are still a few green things in there - most of those are .png images in Shell.zip - You can change that stuff in photoshop. Some menu elements that remain green (like background stuff in the options menus) are set in the .gui files, those are also not affected by this plugin.

To use plugins you'll need NoFiX's pluginloader if you dont already have it. It's included in this zip.

By default it will set greenlines to my blue settings. you can override these settings by placing customcolors.cs into /config/Modules. It's called when the plugin is loaded - shouldn't need '.acs' in the filename. BUT If you find this isn't working (if ur using my win8 plugin fix), change it to customcolors.acs.cs

You can set your own custom settings by looking at the two examples i provided - red and yellow. change the last 3 settings in each line to the RGB values you want.

-cleaned out some old crap and hidden or broken features

v0.55
-added better NoGreenLines.dll function
-this NoGreenlines affects chat input box - original nogreenlines forgot these ones
-default setting is $pref::Groove:NoHudBrackets = False. ie not enabled by default! change to 'True' to enable!
-idk i missed a few versions so maybe other stuff?

progress slider r set in loading.gui and joingame.gui fillcolor and bordercolor no plugin need

guess i just never looked 4 those b4

Just wanted to say it's awesome seeing people use this in their configs and shell replacements! :heart: u guys

for hanukkah a stupid little update (0.30) i did a while ago i guess but never released

lets u change the WeaponHUD bracket color and the Time text color

(timetext color is normally white and still defaults to white but u can change it with the command or using one of the included customcolors - its set to green in the screenshot)

i think i did this version a few weeks after the original release but i figured it was too useless an update to share and i wanted to find the weaponhud text color so i could make it all match

but at this point, to be honest i'm probably never going to even try to finish it so might as well drop what i had

also looks like at some point i took out any error handling so if u throw fucked up commands at it you might get fucked up results but i dont think anyone uses anything but the defaults anyways
 
I'm disappointed that you aren't planning to finish it. It's horribly incomplete. Do you ever finish anything? What a drag.
 
honestly i found the weaponhud stuff mostly by fluke when i was looking for the health/jet huds so i doubt i'll find the sniper ret even if i tried which i probably wont

isn't the sniper ret hardcoded in the exe?

yeah thats kinda the point of the plugin is it changes the 'hardcoded' stuff i just have to find them

(tbh there's also bunch of things i thought were 'hardcoded' that aren't but that's a whole other story)
