patch day 8-22

Ideally, the new caps on instances (5-25 man) will bring the game back down to just having fun again.

Likewise, big guilds can be more loose in how they organize although this might also cause tensions between "good" players and lower tier, in terms of getting slots.

But... the most successful guilds will end up those who can adapt and perhaps even figure out ways to bring in outsiders to fit slots on the fly.

This game is way too oriented around no-life pve mega-guilds.

Wish that was the case. All the established raiding guilds, when looking for new players, pretty much expect MC/ZG/AQ experience and be suitably geared/specced. Which means if you are a newcomer there's not much chance they'll take you because they don't want to spend the extra time to help you get geared up, etc. They just want people who are GTG.

then start your own guild

why are you suggesting all people deserve a fair chance?
you don't, sorry. this isnt kindergarden share hour, you either have the gear that you earn or you don't.

You ever spent more than a week farming Blackrock and DM in pick-ups looking for get at the very least MC gear? Like someone said earlier, it's a notch above stabbing yourself in the balls. But you probably didn't have to do that, you probably lvled with the guild you're in and did guild runs before starting the raiding you you probably didn't have to worry about that.

And you think all the gear we started MC with just magically fell out of the sky?

Idiot.
