Let's show it TW. #thetransdebate
For me, I would use preferred pronouns (only male of female) out of politeness and/or compassion. Especially if it's generally a nice person. I don't think I will ever be able to fully make the switch mentally and it only works if someone can't be recognized as transgender, to be honest.
That being said I've hardly met a trans in my life.

If I know how someone prefers to be addressed, I will make an effort to address them accordingly, but if I slip because my brain was wired a certain way for 60 years, I do not feel bad about it. To me, treat everyone with kindness and compassion unless they show you otherwise, even then I***8217;ll cut them some slack to a point.
We have a close friend who***8217;s biological daughter is non-binary and she is cool as **** and tolerant of our old brains.

To a person directly in room I would use her/she because I am not a dick. My overall beliefs are not going to change the psychological behavior and in ways I think it's contributing but does go back to point one of not being a dick. (WWJD)
That being said. Trans are delusional if they think the world should bend to what they believe in because it is not. We have all seen the reality than men are men women are women.

I can't do zey zir zthem etc two spirit crap
maybe @ an introduction then I'm going back to whatever way they're dressing or have had operation on
I lived with tranny in psychward named Natasha and he was built like Mike Tyson but a woman
main thing was just being chill and avoiding the life story gender dysphoria I have been persecuted **** or trying to convert them
"Take responsibility for urself" was my only advice I gave in relation to the ppl judging her. She took responsibility and made adult choices. It's the ppl that tried to hate her that are ****ed imo and who put her down the path of being on hrt + expensive drugs
personally I'd rather have a coke habbit than hrt to make me a girl

Sam, someday someone you love, like a grandchild may go down who knows what path. Why be a dick about it? As long as they are an adult, why not let them be them?

i dont quite fit into an answer option
in the past, my opinion was to use them as a matter of courtesy
now, its case by case. i would extend that courtesy to a friend, pr someone that shows me equal courtesy. if i dont want to use their pronouns, i wont.
and an absolute no for ***8220;neo pronouns***8221; or ***8220;they***8221;.

Immerse them in cool tap water followed by minor pressure with cold, wet compresses. Apply petroleum jelly two to three times daily. Cover them with a nonstick, sterile bandage. Let them heal on their own while keeping them covered. Do not pop. Consider taking over-the-counter pain medication. Protect them from the sun.

I chose the second option but I'm pretty much the same. I should've included the case-by-case thing. That's what I meant by saying that if someone is generally a nice person I would use their preferred pronouns. But only the normal male-female stuff switched around. A person can **** right off with that neo-pronoun ****.
