not really sure why but some of the HD textures aren't loading

i think its the ones that i put in /entities instead of .zips, not sure if there was a reason for that at the time or not, making the HD pack is a haze of sanity/insanity

there's a lot of textures i'd change now if i went back and did it again

i think at some point i was just like 'fuckit i dont care if shit matches i dont care if it looks good just dump it in and move onto the next texture'
 
Hmmm. I did re-pack it all into zip files so no overwriting was necessary and to cut down on file size.

I too am tribetarded, does this build include terp/netset/whatever teh fuck? Is it necessary if it doesn't? I could never chain for shit so I have no idea. Dealt w/ choppyness w/ previous builds (Groove, others), not sure what the deal is.

the deal is that you should just play with whatever settings come with whatever the fuk u downloaded

it most likely has netset, but if you could never chain anyway, and deal with choppyness (terp), and u dont know what the "deal" is, you most likely have no idea how tribes gameplay works.

id recommend focusing on how to play game rather than config settings imho
 
how do i make basic skin blood eagle and not the base one that comes with this

when i set the skin up it always changes back to base grey
 
hi this was already set to beagle so i think something in the tribes 2015 is overwriting wat skin i want or something
 
I thought this was server specific? I always had to force skins by naming them and overwriting them manually in Entities folder (I don't do this for TRIBES 2015 as far as I know).
 
i just want to use my solid blue/red skins for team skins so idk y its switching them on the server to the base grey skin

i changed the colour of the grey base skin to a solid colour but i still want the team differentiation because it only uses the base skin for both

i dont have this on my other config so idk wats up

it is a really nice config tho im gonna record with it once i figure out my h264 settings again becuz i want things smoother and more hi resolution looking than this

 
Also, if some1 has custom skin (like tons of skins on anni) it automatically uses ur default base skin, if u dont have their texture files. So dsword vs beagle skin work only in ctf, and other servers would need to force them too.
 
this is for old match demos damaster so skins sohuld be forced bloodeagle/dsword

i fraps so whatever that compression is

then i use vdub to try and get things right. but i left all my good settings on another computer so im experimenting. cuz im dumb i use CRF h264 from some x264 i dld
