[NHL] stanley cup 2018

Capitals Stanley Cup Tracker: Track the Stanley Cup's journey around the world with the Caps this summer | NBC Sports Washington

It's so funny how the cup comes to the final game in a case, with handlers wearing white gloves. Yet the players take it all over the place with bare hands, riding in a truck, walked through a corn field, a dirt track, bars, and so on.

it doesn't seem odd or wierd or funny to me - those players have earned it; they can touch it. Most hockey players won't touch the cup. I know I won't; maybe thats a canadian thing?

When a team wins the cup the commish gives it to the players, not the coaches, not he owner. Always irk me in the NFL, NBA and MLB when they give the trophy to the team owners. The commish even congratulates them when he gives them the trophy.
