-tribes1 (run by Lyon)
-tribes1 (run by NiM)
-tribe kings
-tribes 2
-last gasp
-tribalwar
-papi joe's
-tribes 3
-midair
-starsiege (deadzone, raiders, etc)
-numerous clans (zfz, wolfpack, catch22, etc)
-taserver (ascend)
-bittah
-twl
-synthetic studios
-vengeance
-24/7 tribes ladder
-sexual chocolate
-henny
-hanzo
-hippopod
-tribe movie night
-trueskill pugs
add in those from steam, battle.net, twitter, etc. and what i found is there are still hundreds, if not thousands of us online, every day, gaming and chatting. from former IE members to newer LT players, the midair community, TW personalities, etc. some say we belong to a dead game, but our community is undoubtedly not!
we are certainly fractured and seem to sit worlds apart, but most of us once called tribalwar home. in 1999, when OGL removed tribes, we built something for ourselves and out of it came tribes2, teamwarfare, teamspeak, vengeance, legions, and more. we welcomed all and let them speak, for better or worse. a quarter century has passed and what we shared still stands.
tribalwar was the stamp of approval for everything that was "FPS-Z". developers, casuals, pros, marketing reps, all engaged with us and sought our input. joining TW was seen as a requirement to participate and sometimes even more fun than the games themselves--we even began to absorb other forums..
it used to be that we could all come back to the same place, see each other again, and remember how close we all used to be.. everquest, soldier of fortune 2, t2 classic, the xbox 360 era, WoW, the battlefield series, LT, etc.. then 2016 came and it seems a combination of politics, absent moderation, and discord broke us apart ***65533;***65533;
