i look at how they lived under slavery
compared to how they still live in africa today (200 years later)
i look at how they were treated here
compared to how they treat one another in this region they were taken from
i look at how well they were fed
compared to what and how they eat (plus choices) in africa
i look at how many lives lost in Civil War
compared to how bad black on black crime is in any area they control or inhabit
i look at how much money we have already given them in the WAR ON POVERTY and how much they get in welfare and social service benefits every month.
And I can honestly say we do need to talk about reperations
this should be part of our national conversation
