[SKA] ska ska ska

Less Than Jake-Hello Rockview is my favorite ska album

as said above, Reel Big Fish-Turn the Radio Off is great, some more albums to get are suicide machines-best of/destruction by definition, catch 22-keasby nights, streetlight manifesto-everything goes numb, and mad caddies-just one more

streetlight manifesto is the best stuff out there right now, ignoring the classics from the 90s

ska is great

streetlight manifesto - everything goes numb
reel big fish - our live album is better than your live album
catch 22 - kaesby nights
impossibles - impossibles
forces of evil - friend or foe
operation ivy - operation ivy
mihty mighty bosstones - lets face it

Well hello there!

I just went to a Catch 22 concert last night, in St. Pete FL. It was bouncing.

Ska is kinda of its last legs, but still skanking. Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, and Streetlight Manifesto are probally the biggest 3rd Wave Ska bands. Some others you might wanna check out are Mustard Plug and Big D and the Kids Table.

I made a thread saying 2008 would be a great year for Ska. And it has been. I went to see Streetlight Manifesto last April and they were bouncing too.

I feel that the most defining album for 3rd wave Ska is probally Keasbey Nights by Catch 22. Streetlight Manifesto has more a rock vibe and less jazz.:bigthumb:
