I'd MUCH rather have to eat 8k calories a day to put on weight.

What do you mean by extreme endurance? Serious question, I might need some of that. Maybe not the 8k caloiries though.

I wakeboard for 7 hours. Your average boat set is 15 minutes, 4 sets over the course of a day is considered a full day. 4 laps on your average cable is a normal cutoff(forced fall). I ride at the largest park in the US and 25-30 laps at a time is normal for me. Rarely break over 15 minutes(stiffen up if I do).

It's tough to judge actual work, because it's steady state for 30-45 seconds then intensity for 5-10, but it's definitely over training.

thats nuts. if i dont get 2k in me before noon i can hardly keep my eyes open. im at like 4.5-5k per day now and i still drop weight like crazy. on mondays im usually just under 180 and by saturday morning im around 167.

Haha that sounds like me except I go from 215 all week down to about 207-208. Mostly because all I do is drink and eat ****ty Friday/Saturday.

Yeah, tell me about it. It's also ridiculously clean except for breakfast. Which isn't even that bad(chicken breakfast burrito).

A lot of what I eat isn't packaged, so I could easily be off 500 or something, but I doubt it.


lunch is almost always exactly the same, and supper 3-5 nights a week is salmon, trout, or chicken breast with avacado and a green vegetable.

Obviously if I glaze the salmon one night or something I could add 100 calories, I'm not too anal about it, I just try and stick with whole foods and watch the scale on a weekly basis to make sure I am gaining or losing in the 1lb a week range.

edit: and obviously on 'endurance' days I eat half hour to hourly. Fruit, protein shakes, and cliff bars.

at 2200 I am currently at 175 and am a little less lean from the pics I took due to water etc.

also I am 5'10

I'm 5'11 at 165 right now. **** load stronger than I was at 152 last summer, but not near as lean.

Always greener on the other side. I'm jealous of people who can eat 8k calories a day and still be lean, they wish they didn't have to eat that much to gain.
