It was a good move, but our resolve was held and we will control the system in 5 days. Even after the doomsday device and losing a good portion of our fleet we were able to hold the system. We'd have sov now if CCP didn't decide last mini-patch that reinforced towers now count over DT.
The second time they used it, the only people they got was frigs trying to kill the suicide cyno. They got the first couple that came in, but then a plated blackbird got it in. POS survived, LV fleet warped to the POS and was decimated. 2nd and 3rd POS's went down with our fleet warping in on the enemy POS each time to fight off the POS defenders.
All in all it could have been much worse if they would have waited until our Dreads were in siege mode. Eyes on the prize, 1 moon to go in one system, half dozen more in 2 others, 2 systems already taken.

Indeed. its a hard thing to do, thats overshadow a 215 kill mail count acquired with one move.
